Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Bryant (ranked 4105 p4p, 3749 weight class) and Turner Crocop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Leandro Bryant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Turner Crocop!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Crocop pinned against the cage. Crocop gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bryant throws a nice looking combination but Crocop bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
As Bryant backs off Crocop throws a huge counter combo but Bryant manages to avoid it all.
Bryant tries to clinch but Crocop is having none of it.
Crocop swinging wildly here.
Crocop throws a head kick but Bryant moves out of range.
Bryant shoots and misses
and Crocop holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crocop breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Crocop misses with a head kick.
Bryant feinted with a counter takedown.
Crocop throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Leandro Bryant has been cut.

and Bryant counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Bryant tries a head kick but it misses.
Bryant shoots for a takedown but Crocop saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Crocop throws a fast counter high kick but Bryant manages to duck under it in time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leandro Bryant. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bryant takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Crocop misses with a head kick.
Bryant fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Crocop keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Crocop tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Bryant sets himself, and Crocop steps forward looking for the clinch! Bryant avoids it this time.

and Crocop counters by moving into the clinch.
Crocop pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice shot lands for Crocop.
Bryant tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Crocop cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Crocop looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crocop throws a sloppy head kick
and Bryant counters with a right hand to the body.
Crocop throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bryant.
Crocop displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bryant.

Crocop lands with a right hand.
Leandro Bryant's cut is getting worse.
Crocop scores with a head kick.
Crocop lands a big head kick that sends Bryant tumbling to the mat! Crocop takes a step backwards and waves Bryant back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oh Bryant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crocop circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Bryant drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Crocop follows Bryant to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
