Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 53 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Meyer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lykmekov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Meyer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lykmekov misses with a head kick.
Lykmekov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Meyer forces Lykmekov back against the cage and clinches.

Lykmekov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lykmekov shoots for a double leg takedown but Meyer sprawls well. He's pushed Lykmekov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Meyer changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Lykmekov dives in and grabs Meyer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Meyer pushes down on Lykmekov's head and hops out.
As Lykmekov backs off Meyer throws a huge counter combo but Lykmekov manages to avoid it all.
Lykmekov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Meyer circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shashlyk Lykmekov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lykmekov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Meyer.
Lykmekov lands a leg kick that knocks Meyer off balance momentarily.
Meyer misses with a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lykmekov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Meyer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lykmekov cracks Meyer with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lykmekov works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Lykmekov decides to stand up, so the ref orders Meyer to his feet.
Lykmekov leaves Meyer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Lykmekov darts in and clinches Meyer up against the cage.

Lykmekov jumps guard and drags Meyer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Meyer has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lykmekov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Meyer is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lykmekov pulls down on the head and he's put Meyer to sleep! This one is all over!
