Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kano Sicarius (ranked 660 p4p, 2290 weight class) and Ron Funches (ranked 53 p4p, 168 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sicarius might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Klendathu Drop. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kano Sicarius!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ron Funches!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sicarius misses with an uppercut. Funches saw that one coming.
Funches works over Sicarius's head and body with a nice combination.
Sicarius throws a jab but it's blocked by Funches.
It seemed like Funches was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Funches uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sicarius scores with a hook to the body. Funches takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Funches lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sicarius takes a step back to recover.
A slow jab from Funches misses its intended target.

Funches lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Sicarius is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Funches's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Funches takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Funches tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sicarius is able to avoid easily.
Sicarius tries to counter with a takedown but Funches is quick to defend against it.

Funches takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sicarius throws a lazy right hand but Funches sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
As Sicarius backs off Funches throws a huge counter combo but Sicarius manages to avoid it all.
Funches lets loose with a powerful body kick. Sicarius will feel that in the morning.
Sicarius swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A little jabbing left from Funches on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Funches tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Sicarius misses with a hook.
Sicarius on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Funches throws a hook but Sicarius avoids it easily.
Sicarius swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Funches misses with a hook. Sicarius ducked under it nicely.
Sicarius throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Funches tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sicarius is in Funches's guard.
Sicarius working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Funches's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sicarius is working Funches over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Funches can't keep his opponent in guard - Sicarius advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Funches is looking to control Sicarius's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Funches avoid being mounted?

Sicarius is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Funches!

Funches is in a horrible position here. Sicarius smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Funches is still in real trouble! Can Sicarius finish him?
Sicarius unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Funches wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Sicarius celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kano Sicarius!
A relieved looking Kano Sicarius thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
