Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Burt Craig (ranked 4024 p4p, 4119 weight class) and Eden Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Burt Craig! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eden Romero! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romero shoots for a double leg takedown but Craig sprawls well. He's pushed Romero's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Craig avoids a punch combination nicely.
Romero wants to clinch but Craig slips to the side and Craig decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Romero's guard. Romero really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Craig. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Craig trying to control but Romero is working from the bottom. Craig is stalling in the full guard. Craig trying to control but Romero is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romero preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Craig's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Craig engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Craig has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Craig is in close to Romero's body, working some short punches and elbows. Craig is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Craig accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Craig lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Craig wants to control from the top but Romero keeps moving. Craig content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Romero throws his legs up looking for a submission but Craig uses it to pass to side control.
Romero wants to control but Craig postures up. Craig tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Craig has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Romero can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Craig trying to control the action but Romero is working from the bottom. Craig scoring with punches from side control. Craig wants to control but Romero is keeping him busy. Craig working the ground and pound. Craig lands a nice forearm strike. Romero tries to bench press Craig off him but Craig keeps the position. Craig has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Romero is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Craig yanks on the arm and Romero is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Craig.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Burt Craig! Burt Craig decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
