The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Sosa. Webster tries to improve position but can't. Webster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sosa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sosa is trying to get an arm triangle but Webster is defending well. Sosa fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Webster regains half guard. Webster looking for submissions off his back.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sosa looks for the body kick but Webster saw that one coming. Webster shoots and misses and Sosa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sosa.

Webster wants to get back to full guard. Sosa moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Webster. Webster tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sosa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Sosa is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Webster tries to bench press Sosa off him but Sosa keeps the position. Webster is squirming around, avoiding Sosa's attempts to control the action. Webster keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Webster is trying desperately to improve position. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sosa cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
