Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raiden Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bruno Canto!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace checks the leg kick.
Wallace takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Canto lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Canto looks to land a right hand but Wallace moved out of range.
Canto dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wallace. That did some damage!
Canto throws a hook but Wallace blocks it.
It looked like Wallace wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Wallace with a lazy takedown attempt
enabling Canto to counter with a crisp jab.

Canto lands a big head kick that sends Wallace tumbling to the mat! Canto takes a step backwards and waves Wallace back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Raiden Wallace has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Canto lands a jab.
Canto connects with a leg kick.
Canto ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Wallace moves out of range as Canto strikes.
Wallace moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Canto misses with a straight right.
Wallace shoots in looking for a takedown. Canto tries to sprawl out of it but Wallace keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Canto manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Canto lands a slapping body shot.
Nice takedown defense from Canto. No joy for Wallace on that attempt.
A nice side step and Canto releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raiden Wallace. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Canto connects with a leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Canto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Canto throws a chopping leg kick but Wallace manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Wallace throwing a counter right hand but Canto manages to avoid it.
Canto stuffs the takedown attempt from Wallace. Wallace gets slowly back to his feet.
Canto connects with a leg kick.
Wallace tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Canto defends well and Wallace ends up having to push Canto into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Canto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Canto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wallace on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Canto lands a head shot.
Canto fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wallace.
Canto connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wallace momentarily.
Canto is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Canto misses with a low kick.
Wallace dives in and grabs Canto's left leg, looking for a takedown. Canto pushes down on Wallace's head and hops out.
Canto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wallace sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A little feinted left hand from Wallace on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Wallace manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Canto on his heels. He'll look to pass Canto's guard now, I'm sure.
Wallace passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Wallace in side control, throwing shots but Canto defends.
Wallace misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Wallace trying to control the action but Canto is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wallace is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Canto has escaped the position, nice work there.
Canto is trying to control Wallace's posture but Wallace avoids it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wallace tries to score with some ground and pound. Canto controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Wallace working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Wallace looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Canto is trying to control Wallace's posture but Wallace avoids it.
Wallace landing a few strikes.
Wallace trying to control the position but Canto is working away.

Wallace is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Canto is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Canto is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Bruno Canto dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Raiden Wallace's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Canto goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Canto stuffs the takedown.
Wallace takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Canto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wallace was well out of range. Poor timing from Canto.
Canto has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Canto lands with a good body shot.
Wallace tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Canto swivels and escapes.
Canto has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Canto chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Wallace takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Canto looks to throw the jab but Wallace is out of range.
It looked like Wallace wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Bruno Canto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Canto throws a leg kick which misses Wallace's front leg but catches the back leg as Wallace tries to avoid it.

Wallace is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Oooooh!!! Canto has knocked Wallace down with a huge combo! Canto steps away and waves a wobbly Wallace back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Raiden Wallace's cut is getting worse.

Canto cracks Wallace with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Wallace looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Canto finish him?

Wallace is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wallace takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Canto will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Wallace swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Canto stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Canto wants it to stay on the feet.

Canto dips to his left and cracks Wallace with an uppercut!

Canto sends Wallace crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Canto is motioning to the referee to let Wallace up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Wallace is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Canto lands a big right hand that sends Wallace crashing to the mat! Canto stays standing though and waves Wallace back to his feet!
Wallace fails with the takedown
and Canto scores with a counter punch that sends Wallace to the canvas! Canto smells blood - he's punishing Wallace with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Wallace has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruno Canto!
