Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 23857 p4p, 23809 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 33 - 50 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 42 - 43 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Mibangon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sapi sprawls well initially but Mibangon persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mibangon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sapi tries to roll over but Mibangon keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi controlling the position well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon slows the pace down in half guard. Sapi holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Mibangon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sapi on his heels. He'll look to pass Sapi's guard now, I'm sure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sapi looking for a sweep. Not yet Sapi, not yet. Mibangon is stalling in the full guard. Mibangon is fighting to break Sapi's control of his arms but Sapi is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Sapi is continuing to stall. Mibangon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon stopping the sweep attempt from Sapi. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Mibangon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Sapi or perhaps it was just good defense by Mibangon, which made it look bad. Sapi fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mibangon shoots in and drives through. Sapi sprawls well. Sapi thinks about the counter body kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi fails with a takedown attempt. It appears Mibangon was looking to counter with a kick there. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Minatay Mibangon dominated that round. That's time! Mibangon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Mibangon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sapi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mibangon somewhat. Sapi thinks about the counter body kick. Mibangon throws a push kick but Sapi slaps the foot to one side. Sapi replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Mibangon blocks it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mibangon is defended easily by Sapi. Sapi replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Mibangon blocks it well. Mibangon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sapi can do to turn this around?
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mibangon. Sapi appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minatay Mibangon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sapi shoots in looking for a takedown. Mibangon tries to sprawl out of it but Sapi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mibangon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. It appears Mibangon was looking to counter with a kick there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sapi stuffs the takedown. Sapi is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Sapi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sapi showed some decent athleticism there. Sapi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi is controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sapi wants to stand up but Mibangon is controlling the position.
Sapi is taking a breather. Mibangon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sapi not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Sapi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sapi's waist but Sapi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mibangon off to one side. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Sapi fails with a takedown attempt. Mibangon swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wala Sapi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Mibangon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sapi defends well and Mibangon ends up having to push Sapi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Sapi follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Mibangon is defending well against a takedown attempt. Mibangon is defending well against a takedown attempt. Mibangon pulls guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi wants to control from the top but Mibangon keeps moving. Mibangon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sapi controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Mibangon trying to control the position.
Sapi throws a strike but Mibangon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sapi is adopting a defensive guard. Mibangon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Mibangon seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sapi for as long as he can get away with.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon has his takedown stuffed and Sapi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Mibangon gets a takedown into half guard. Mibangon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mibangon prevents Sapi from improving his position. Sapi is positioning himself well to prevent Mibangon advancing to mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi has hold of Mibangon's hands but Mibangon slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
And that's the end of the fight! Minatay Mibangon showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mibangon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
