Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Sam Canasta (ranked 5563 p4p, 25556 weight class) and Tokita Ohma (ranked 515 p4p, 577 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Canasta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tokita Ohma!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canasta swings for the body but Ohma moves out of range.
Canasta tries to clinch up but Ohma circles away and keeps his distance.
Canasta doesn't manage to clinch there - Ohma circles away.
Canasta fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ohma throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ohma tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Canasta paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Canasta ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ohma throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Ohma walks into a big right hand from Canasta and goes down! The referee sends Canasta to a neutral corner as Ohma gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.

It looks like Tokita Ohma has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ohma swats away the attempt to clinch by Canasta.
Canasta tries to clinch but Ohma is having none of it.
Canasta is looking to clinch.
Canasta scores with a shot to the body.
Ohma throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Canasta ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ohma moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ohma takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Canasta dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ohma looks winded!

Canasta scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ohma doesn't seem bothered though.
Canasta tries to clinch up but Ohma circles away and keeps his distance.
Canasta has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Doom\'s Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Canasta gets through Ohma's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Canasta digs a right hand underneath Ohma's ribcage. Ohma let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Canasta pushes Ohma back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Canasta digs a right hand into Ohma's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Ohma's gas tank.
Canasta gets through Ohma's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Canasta lands a shoulder strike.

Ohma is rocked!

Ohma is still on wobbly legs! Can Canasta finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice left hand lands by Canasta.
Canasta creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Ohma crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Ohma face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Canasta takes it with a brutal technical knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Sam Canasta!
Sam Canasta spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
