Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln Hamilton (ranked 1361 p4p, 2386 weight class) and Mason Barbosa (ranked 140 p4p, 230 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lincoln Hamilton!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mason Barbosa!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hamilton doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Barbosa counters with a stiff right hand.

Hamilton is rocked!
Hamilton has a takedown stuffed.
Oh Hamilton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barbosa looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lincoln Hamilton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hamilton wants to clinch
and Barbosa counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Hamilton seems to have got his legs back now.
Hamilton definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hamilton tries to clinch up
enabling Barbosa to counter with a crisp jab.
Hamilton takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hamilton walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A jab from Barbosa finds it's way through Hamilton's defenses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hamilton darts in trying to clinch
and Barbosa counters with a nice body shot.
Lincoln Hamilton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hamilton takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Barbosa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barbosa sizes up Hamilton with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hamilton tries to clinch there but Barbosa circles away.
Barbosa now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Barbosa scores with a punch to the head.
Hamilton misses with a takedown attempt
letting Barbosa counter with a right hand.
Hamilton looks to clinch
and Barbosa scores with a counter punch that sends Hamilton to the canvas! Barbosa smells blood - he's punishing Hamilton with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Hamilton has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mason Barbosa!
Mason Barbosa is the new lightweight champion!
Mason Barbosa decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
