Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Asa Shi!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imo tries to clinch but Shi moves out of range.
Shi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Imo sneaks out the side door and pushes Shi away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Shi gets the takedown into side control.
Imo bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Imo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shi as he jumps to the side.
Shi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Shi gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Imo is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Shi has his hands clasped together but Imo extends and breaks Shi's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Imo.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ra Imo!
