Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Herminos Lugnunum (ranked 1446 p4p, 1470 weight class) and Tiff Sanford (ranked 164 p4p, 167 weight class). Sanford has chosen Body Count - Body Count's in the House as his entrance music. Tiff Sanford will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tiff Sanford!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lugnunum misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
It seemed like Sanford was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Lugnunum drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sanford on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Lugnunum grinds an elbow into Sanford's temple.
Lugnunum lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sanford down.
Sanford tries to improve position but can't.
The strikes coming from Lugnunum are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Sanford can't do much from the bottom here.
Sanford really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lugnunum. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lugnunum creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sanford sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Lugnunum postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Lugnunum wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sanford keeps working.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sanford can do anything to dispel that myth.

Sanford parries the strikes from Lugnunum easily there. Lugnunum is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sanford to escape.
Sanford wants to control but Lugnunum postures up.
Lugnunum looks up at the clock and then as Sanford takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lugnunum smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Lugnunum throws a strike aimed at the side of Sanford's head but Sanford avoids it well.
Sanford is trying to escape the position but Lugnunum is controlling the position.

Lugnunum thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Lugnunum is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Sanford looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lugnunum gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Sanford is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lugnunum lets go of the hold and Sanford can pop his arm back in it's socket.
