Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danu Jaya (ranked 3939 p4p, 2816 weight class) and Billy Butcher (ranked 409 p4p, 313 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Danu Jaya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Butcher! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butcher getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Jaya misses with a wild combination.
Jaya is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jaya scores with a takedown into Butcher's guard. Butcher looking for a sweep. Not yet Butcher, not yet. Jaya wants to control from the top but Butcher keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jaya wants to pass the guard but Butcher is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaya is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Butcher wants to sweep here but Jaya controlling him for the moment. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Jaya slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Butcher misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jaya.
A looping hook to the body misses from Butcher. Jaya does a little dance to reset his feet. Jaya closes the distance and pushes Butcher back into the cage. Jaya definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Jaya stalling the fight.
Jaya is trying to pull guard but Butcher turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jaya tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Butcher has a couple of punches blocked by Jaya.

Butcher lands a body shot. Jaya's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jaya scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jaya. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danu Jaya. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jaya tries to clinch but Butcher moves out of range. Jaya stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Butcher. Jaya tries to score a power double leg takedown but Butcher sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jaya somewhat. Butcher cracks a nice hook into Jaya's ribs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jaya gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Butcher. Butcher swings for the body but Jaya moves out of range.
Jaya tries a low kick but Butcher avoids it. Butcher misses with a looping left. No joy there for Jaya, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Butcher tries to move into range but Jaya moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Jaya takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Jaya on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Butcher. Butcher obviously looking to wear him down.
Butcher lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Butcher misses with a kick to the body so Jaya counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jaya trying to control but Butcher is working from the bottom. Jaya controlling from the top position. Jaya wants to control from the top but Butcher keeps moving. Jaya stays in close to Butcher's body and controls the position. Butcher has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jaya has passed into side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Danu Jaya will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. A punch combination from Jaya misses. Butcher throws a head kick but Jaya moves out of range.
Butcher fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Butcher moves into range and connects with a jab. Butcher throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Butcher takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Jaya throws a right and a left that both miss. Jaya just misses with a punch to the body.
Jaya rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Butcher moves out of range and avoids them all easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Butcher throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Jaya throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jaya shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Butcher manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butcher keeping moving, preventing Jaya from controlling successfully. Jaya sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jaya trying to control but Butcher is working from the bottom. Jaya postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Danu Jaya overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jaya landing with the ground and pound. Jaya pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Butcher is keeping the position for now. Jaya wants to control from the top but Butcher keeps moving.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Butcher throws the left hand but Jaya avoids the punch easily. Butcher throws a leg kick but Jaya sees it coming and checks it nicely. Jaya fires out a quick counter leg kick but Butcher just manages to avoid it. Billy Butcher seems to be getting the better of the standup. Butcher throws a body punch but Jaya moves out of range. Billy Butcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jaya throws a right hand that Butcher ducks under and follows up with a left that Butcher also avoids with ease.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butcher moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Butcher has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Butcher avoids a kick to the body.
Jaya tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Butcher is able to avoid easily. Butcher keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Jaya checks a low kick from Butcher. Jaya tries to counter by clinching up but Butcher breaks away and moves out of range. The fighters circling - Butcher throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jaya attempts a counter takedown but Butcher avoids it well and moves away. Butcher throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jaya clinches with his opponent.
Butcher lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Jaya wants a takedown.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jaya is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Butcher pulls him back up using the underhooks. Butcher is pressed up against the cage. Jaya has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Butcher down to the mat. Butcher avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danu Jaya. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jaya shoots in looking for a takedown but Butcher manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jaya's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Butcher is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Butcher scores with a jab to the jaw. Butcher clobbers Jaya with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Butcher punishes Jaya's body with a nice straight punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Butcher walks into a straight right hand from Jaya. Butcher looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jaya looks for a takedown but Butcher sprawls well. Danu Jaya is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Butcher thuds his right hand into Jaya's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Butcher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Butcher lands a big head kick that sends Jaya tumbling to the mat! Butcher takes a step backwards and waves Jaya back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jaya is rocked!
It looks like Danu Jaya has been cut. Crack! A monster head kick from Butcher and Jaya falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Butcher!
