The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banderas looks for a takedown but Torro sprawls well.
Torro swats away the attempt to clinch by Banderas.
Torro has Banderas up against the cage in a clinch.
Torro has picked Banderas up - he's going for a ride! Torro dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Torro escapes and gets back to his feet.
Banderas misses with a few strikes there.
Torro darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Torro is trying to work for a kimura but Banderas is defending well.

Banderas is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Torro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Torro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Torro looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Banderas puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Torro makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Torro.
Banderas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Torro looking for a guillotine here but Banderas defends easily.
Torro working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Banderas has passed into half guard!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Torro closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Torro lands in his opponent's guard.
Banderas manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Torro manages to get himself to full guard.
Banderas wants to control from the top but Torro keeps moving.

Torro is looking for a triangle but Banderas pushes his legs off easily.
Banderas is posturing up here but Torro has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Banderas tries to roll out but it's too tight and Banderas has to tap! Slick submission there by Torro!
