Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wang Jang Jai (ranked 70 p4p, 634 weight class) and Zdravko Dren Jr (ranked 11 p4p, 74 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jang Jai might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Snake Shadow. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Wang Jang Jai! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zdravko Dren Jr! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jang Jai throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Zdravko Dren Jr has been cut. Jang Jai throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jang Jai misses with an uppercut
and Dren Jr makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Dren Jr showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jang Jai.
Dren Jr flicks out a counter leg kick but Jang Jai steps away. Jang Jai lands a really nice looking cross but Dren Jr seems unphased.
Jang Jai swings and misses with a shot to the body and Dren Jr makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Jang Jai throws a right hand that Dren Jr ducks under and follows up with a left that Dren Jr also avoids with ease. Dren Jr appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. A jab from Jang Jai misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jang Jai fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dren Jr on the side of the head. Jang Jai throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Dren Jr to counter with a crisp jab. Dren Jr keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jang Jai fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dren Jr moves away from the strike by Jang Jai. Dren Jr swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A lazy left from Jang Jai finds it's target. Jang Jai lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dren Jr at a distance.
Jang Jai pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Dren Jr doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Jang Jai! Dren Jr is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wang Jang Jai! Wang Jang Jai retains his heavyweight title! After winning the bout, Wang Jang Jai thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
