The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arlindo throws a head kick but Malone moves out of range.
Malone looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Malone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Arlindo as he jumps to the side.
Arlindo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Arlindo throws a head kick that misses.
Arlindo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Arlindo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Malone shoots in but no luck this time.
Otavio Arlindo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Malone.
Malone uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Arlindo.
Arlindo gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Arlindo jumps guard and drags Malone to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Arlindo is sitting in close to Malone's body. Malone has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Arlindo is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Arlindo is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Malone.
