Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary McField (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McField comes to the cage accompanied by Foo Fighters - My Hero. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Billy Boy! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McField has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Gary McField has been cut. McField closes the distance and pushes Boy back into the cage. McField is trying to drag Boy to the mat but Boy just about manages to keep his footing. That's one minute gone in the round. McField controls Boy momentarily but Boy frees himself. Boy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. McField pushes Boy off and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Boy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boy thows a huge punch but McField dodges it nicely.

McField closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boy looking for a sweep but McField has passed into full mount! Oh no! McField can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Boy is looking to escape. Boy is working to get back to half guard.
McField wants to control the pace but Boy is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. McField punishing his opponent with strikes. Boy is breathing heavily. McField breaks from Boy's wrist control and lands an elbow. Boy is wriggling around trying to escape.
Boy regains half guard. McField is trying to work for a kimura but Boy is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Boy is staying active underneath McField, who seems content to just control the action from this position. McField is pressing down on Boy's thigh, looking to free his foot. Boy is holding on for now. McField is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boy is just riding it out for now. McField eventually gives up the hold. McField keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McField lands a nice short elbow. Boy works his way to full guard. Good work. McField trying to control the position from guard on top but Boy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McField postures up in Boy's guard and throws a big left but Boy blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Boy keeping moving, preventing McField from controlling successfully. Boy being controlled here, momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gary McField dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Gary McField's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Boy wants to clinch. Boy closes the distance and clinches. McField landing some nice looking knees to the body.
McField fails to pull the fight into his guard.
McField tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Boy just stands there and leans against the cage. Boy prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary McField. That's going to take a lot out of him. McField wants to break free but Boy has control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McField will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Boy up against the cage. Boy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Boy shoots and misses and McField counters with a nice double leg into guard. Boy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McField. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Boy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. McField pushing down on Boy's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. McField seems to be looking for submissions.
McField passes to side control. McField staying calm. McField trying to control the position but Boy is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McField has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Boy keeps the fight on the outside. Boy has a takedown stuffed. McField fails with a takedown attempt from distance. McField tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McField shoots in and drives through. Boy sprawls well. Boy misses with a two punch combination.
McField feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Boy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. McField slips nicely into half guard. Boy misses with some strikes from the bottom.
McField is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Boy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McField. Boy punching from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McField stalling. McField is trying to control. Boy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Gary McField showed his dominance in that final round. I think McField has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
