Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mmm Mmm (ranked 23228 p4p, 23240 weight class) and Zambosurian Inday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mmm Mmm has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 106 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 75 - 53 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zambosurian Inday! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Inday fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mmm avoids it really well and circles away. Inday shoots in but Mmm avoids the takedown attempt easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mmm is defended easily by Inday.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inday stuffs the takedown. Inday is trying to counter with his kicks. Inday shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mmm napping and manages to drive through into side control! Mmm wants to control but Inday postures up. Inday is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Inday might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inday is continuing to stall.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Mmm fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mmm Mmm. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mmm shoots in for a takedown but Inday shows good takedown defense. Inday is trying to counter with his kicks. Inday tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mmm defends well and Inday ends up having to push Mmm into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mmm is trying hard to land a takedown here. Inday sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mmm shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Inday's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Inday pulls Mmm in to control the position. Mmm trying to control but Inday is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Zambosurian Inday dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Inday changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mmm looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Mmm is being controlled here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mmm struggling a bit here. Inday controls the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. You can see the frustration on Mmm's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Inday fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Inday closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mmm to the mat! Mmm manages to get full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inday stays in close to Mmm's body and controls the position. Mmm trying to keep a closed guard but Inday is proving a slippery customer.
Inday not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mmm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Inday looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mmm misses with a takedown attempt - Inday sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mmm shoots in for a takedown but Inday shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Inday counters with a body kick. Inday gets a double leg takedown into Mmm's guard. Inday sitting in guard, not really doing much. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Zambosurian Inday showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Mmm closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Inday quickly recovers to half guard. Mmm missing with the ground and pound from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Inday is controlling Mmm's trapped leg to prevent Mmm from advancing to side control. Inday trying to control but Mmm postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inday is doing well to control the position and prevent Mmm from advancing to side control. Mmm looks to land a strike but Inday avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Zambosurian Inday has got the better of the ground game so far. Inday keeping moving, preventing Mmm from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Inday shoots in looking for a takedown but Mmm manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Inday's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Inday with a poor takedown and Mmm counters with a body kick that stops Inday in his tracks momentarily. Mmm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Inday's waist but Inday gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mmm off to one side. Mmm stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mmm wants it to stay on the feet. Mmm Mmm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zambosurian Inday. Mmm shoots in for a takedown but Inday shows good takedown defense. Inday follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Inday fails to land the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inday leaves Mmm with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Inday replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Mmm blocks it well. Mmm throws a body kick that misses. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mmm is defended easily by Inday. Inday follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Inday has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Inday stuffs the takedown. Inday follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Mmm Mmm has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Zambosurian Inday is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Inday displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mmm. Inday tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mmm Mmm. Well Inday has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
