Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alvro Machado (ranked 2138 p4p, 2228 weight class) and Augustus Walls (ranked 213 p4p, 223 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Walls was well out of range. Poor timing from Machado.
Walls swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Machado counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Machado moves away from the strike by Walls.
Walls thows a left - swing and a miss!
Machado definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Walls is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Machado.

It looks like Augustus Walls has been cut.
Walls tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Machado paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Walls throws a body punch but Machado moves out of range.
Walls throws a hook but Machado avoids it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Walls has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Machado can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Walls stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Machado swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Machado shoots in looking for a takedown but Walls manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Machado's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Machado, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Alvro Machado rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
