The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Rudberg lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Owens circles away quickly and effectively.
Rudberg swings for the body but Owens moves out of range.

and Owens connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rudberg looks to score with a jab to the body but Owens is just out of range.
Rudberg takes one to the chin there.
Rudberg slips under a jab.
Rudberg pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Owens back to the cage. Rudberg follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rudberg shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Owens eats them both and turns towards Rudberg to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Zaid Owens's cut is getting worse.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Zaid Owens will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Owens sends Rudberg crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Owens is motioning to the referee to let Rudberg up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Rudberg is still on wobbly legs! Can Owens finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Owens walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Rudberg drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Owens swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Rudberg's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zaid Owens!
