Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tobiasz Wawrzyniak (ranked 4064 p4p, 4259 weight class) and Patient Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 274 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wawrzyniak paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A lazy left from Wawrzyniak finds it's target.
Zero steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wawrzyniak.
A punch lands to the side of Zero 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Wawrzyniak slips under a jab from Zero.
Wawrzyniak swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Wawrzyniak lands with a nice body punch.
Wawrzyniak getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Zero tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wawrzyniak paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Wawrzyniak on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Zero on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

and Zero takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wawrzyniak wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zero on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Wawrzyniak throws a hook but Zero blocks it.

Zero will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Zero shoots for a double leg takedown but Wawrzyniak sprawls well. He's pushed Zero's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Horrible takedown attempt by Zero or perhaps it was just good defense by Wawrzyniak, which made it look bad.
Tobiasz Wawrzyniak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patient Zero.
Wawrzyniak lands a really nice looking cross but Zero seems unphased.
Zero is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Zero shoots in and drives through. Wawrzyniak sprawls well.

Wawrzyniak dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Zero appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

A left and a right from Wawrzyniak both land. Nice combination.
Zero takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Zero is still on wobbly legs! Can Wawrzyniak finish him?
Tobiasz Wawrzyniak is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wawrzyniak rushes Zero with punches - Zero moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Zero goes down! Wawrzyniak follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
