Tate uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Parrish.

Parrish tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tate was well out of range. Poor timing from Parrish.

Tate takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Melvin Tate seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters circle momentarily. Parrish darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

enabling Parrish to counter with a crisp jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Tate misses the target.
A little feinted left hand from Parrish on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Parrish cracks Tate on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Tate falls backwards against the cage. Parrish follows up with more strikes that drop Tate to his knees. Parrish keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Tate! This one is all over!

Barry Parrish decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
