Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trace Mack (ranked 3186 p4p, 1755 weight class) and Jeremy Marks (ranked 353 p4p, 223 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick lands for Marks.
Mack definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Marks digs a good hook to Mack's body.
Marks throws a leg kick which misses Mack's front leg but catches the back leg as Mack tries to avoid it.
Marks throws a head kick but Mack moves out of range.
Mack was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Mack connects with a jab.
Marks scores with a head kick. Mack tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Trace Mack has been cut.
Mack tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

and Marks counters with a low kick, right behind Mack 's knee.
Mack lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
No joy there for Mack, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Marks fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mack has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mack is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marks.

Marks jabs Mack right on the nose. Mack blinks but takes it well.

Mack chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Marks can pounce on him.
Marks stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Mack takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Mack takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

and Marks counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mack's knee momentarily.

Marks drops Mack with a beautiful combination! Mack stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Marks is looking for the KO!

Mack swings for the body but Marks moves out of range.
Marks lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Marks looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Marks buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Marks misses the shot to the body.
Marks dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Marks gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Mack is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Marks cracks Mack with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Marks feints and then cracks Mack's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mack down.

A jab from Marks finds it's way through Mack's defenses.

The fighters circle, before Marks throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Mack's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Marks lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

A relieved looking Jeremy Marks thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
