Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Filip Petrovic (ranked 3989 p4p, 4026 weight class) and Connor McIntyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Filip Petrovic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Connor McIntyre! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrovic looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Petrovic makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. McIntyre wants to stand but Petrovic is controlling the position. McIntyre is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Petrovic stands up over McIntyre, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. McIntyre wants to stand up but Petrovic is controlling him. Petrovic landing with the ground and pound. Petrovic controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McIntyre looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Petrovic passes into side control.
Petrovic scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at McIntyre to see if he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. McIntyre wants to get back to his feet but Petrovic drags him back down. Petrovic connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused McIntyre some visible discomfort.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McIntyre can do anything to dispel that myth. Petrovic just content to control the position. McIntyre really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Petrovic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McIntyre is wriggling around trying to escape but Petrovic has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! McIntyre taps out and Petrovic picks up the big win! Great work there by Petrovic!
