Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Simon Maynard!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccoy misses with a body shot
letting Maynard counter with a right hand.
Mccoy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mccoy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Maynard dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mccoy. That did some damage!
Maynard lands a jab.

It looks like Brendan Mccoy has been cut.
Mccoy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mccoy shoots in but Maynard avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Despite the aggression on Maynard's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Mccoy misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Maynard to counter with a crisp jab.
Maynard works Mccoy's body with a nice hook.
Mccoy throws a right and a left that Maynard avoids nicely.
Maynard throws out a counter right but Mccoy avoids it with no problem.
Maynard throws a head kick but Mccoy moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
