Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bradly Grimes!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kong manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Grimes clinches.
Grimes misses with the head strike.
Grimes tries to throw a body punch but Kong avoids it by throwing Grimes back against the cage.
Kong manages to break the clinch.
Grimes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Grimes has Kong pressed against the cage, preventing Kong from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Kong has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kong escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Kong counters with a nice body kick.

Kong throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Grimes throws out a loose jab but Kong uses good head movement to avoid it.
Grimes closes the distance and clinches up with Kong, looking for a takedown. Grimes pushes Kong against the cage but Kong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kong lands with a kick to the temple. Grimes shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

The fighters circling - Grimes throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Grimes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kong as he avoids it easily.
Tai Kong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bradly Grimes.

Tai Kong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kong tries to land a front kick but Grimes steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
