Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 24391 p4p, 5432 weight class) and Neil Nucombe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krzysztof Zakrzewski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 40 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Neil Nucombe! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zakrzewski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Zakrzewski catches Nucombe with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Zakrzewski closes the distance and clinches up with Nucombe, looking for a takedown. Zakrzewski pushes Nucombe against the cage but Nucombe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nucombe swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Nucombe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Nucombe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zakrzewski sees it coming and avoids it easily. Zakrzewski is looking to clinch. Nucombe swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Nucombe scores with a body shot.
Zakrzewski misses with a takedown attempt and Nucombe counters with a nice body shot. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krzysztof Zakrzewski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zakrzewski is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nucombe misses with a series of wild punches.

It looks like Krzysztof Zakrzewski has been cut. Nucombe changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nucombe, as that shot connected.
Nucombe cracks Zakrzewski with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Zakrzewski fails to land the takedown. Nucombe throws a lazy right hand but Zakrzewski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Zakrzewski takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Nucombe cracks Zakrzewski with an uppercut from hell and Zakrzewski crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Nucombe's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Zakrzewski is rocked! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nucombe showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Oh Zakrzewski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Nucombe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zakrzewski swivels though and keeps the full guard. Zakrzewski seems to have got his legs back now. Nucombe stays in close to Zakrzewski's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nucombe is continuing to stall. Nucombe trying to stand up but can't free himself from Zakrzewski's guard. Nucombe sitting in guard here, content to control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nucombe scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Zakrzewski takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Krzysztof Zakrzewski's cut is getting worse. Nucombe fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Zakrzewski on the side of the head. Nucombe fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Zakrzewski to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Zakrzewski looks to clinch but Nucombe throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Zakrzewski taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Neil Nucombe! Neil Nucombe seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
