Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm Farquharson (ranked 1683 p4p, 1486 weight class) and Silvio Van De Leide (ranked 220 p4p, 195 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Van De Leide's choice of entrance music: Sandstorm - Darude. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Silvio Van De Leide!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Van De Leide is predictable there
and Farquharson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Farquharson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Van De Leide has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Farquharson is working away from the top position though.

Farquharson is nestled in close to Van De Leide, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Farquharson lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Van De Leide quite badly. Van De Leide pulls Farquharson in close trying to recover. Farquharson postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Van De Leide on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Van De Leide doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Malcolm Farquharson!
In defeat, Silvio Van De Leide stepped up to the mic, saying 'War should only be in the cage. Peace on Earth.'.
