PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bernardo Belmiro (ranked 3538 p4p, 3501 weight class) and Randy Wieland (ranked 393 p4p, 386 weight class). Wieland has chosen Ran-D - Zombie as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belmiro moves out of range as Wieland strikes.

Belmiro shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wieland napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Belmiro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Belmiro shoots in looking for a takedown. Wieland tries to sprawl out of it but Belmiro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wieland manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
