Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joao Gabriel (ranked 4688 p4p, 2022 weight class) and Kazhymukan Manaitpasov (ranked 485 p4p, 257 weight class). Gabriel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Circo das Galinhas. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manaitpasov is pressing down on Gabriel's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gabriel is holding on for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Let's hope that Manaitpasov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
