Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rhys Cadwgan (ranked 4922 p4p, 4094 weight class) and Moshe Schneider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cadwgan's entrance music is Squeeze the Fruit - The Commodores. A fine choice. Rhys Cadwgan has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rhys Cadwgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Moshe Schneider! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cadwgan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A jab from Schneider does it's job there. Cadwgan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Schneider cracks Cadwgan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Cadwgan lands a head kick. Schneider smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Cadwgan walks into a straight right hand from Schneider. Cadwgan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nice jab there from Schneider. Schneider punishes Cadwgan's body with a nice straight punch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Schneider uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Schneider dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Schneider moves in looking to clinch but Cadwgan pushes him off. Cadwgan feinted with a counter takedown. Schneider avoids the body shot from Cadwgan.
Moshe Schneider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schneider connects with the punch. Schneider scores with a jab to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schneider throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cadwgan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Schneider looks to score with a jab to the body but Cadwgan is just out of range. Cadwgan tries to counter with a takedown but Schneider is quick to defend against it. Schneider connects with a jab. Cadwgan throws a hook but Schneider avoids it easily. Nice straight punches there by Schneider. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Schneider. Schneider clobbers Cadwgan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Cadwgan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Schneider's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cadwgan looking to pass the guard. Schneider really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cadwgan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Schneider wants to stand and escape but Cadwgan is having none of it. Schneider has momentary wrist control but Cadwgan slips an elbow through the middle. Schneider keeping moving, preventing Cadwgan from controlling successfully. Cadwgan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schneider is looking to stand up but Cadwgan isn't so interested in that idea. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cadwgan is in close to Schneider's body, working some short punches and elbows. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Cadwgan lands a couple of decent looking shots. Cadwgan scoring with punches to the head and body. Cadwgan trying to control but Schneider is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schneider is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cadwgan is controlling him. Cadwgan works a leg free and moves into half guard. Cadwgan trying to control the action but Schneider is working from the bottom. Schneider trying to hold on to Cadwgan's head to control him but Cadwgan postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cadwgan is keen to just control but Schneider is a slippery customer. Schneider wants to get back to his feet.
Schneider is in trouble now - Cadwgan has advanced to mount! A nice elbow there by Cadwgan. Cadwgan is working for a guillotine from mount but Schneider frees his head quite easily.
Schneider is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Cadwgan looking to finish Schneider with some ground and pound. This is bad for Schneider! Cadwgan has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Schneider's face.

Schneider is rocked! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Schneider can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cadwgan working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Schneider looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Cadwgan! Submission of the night perhaps?
