Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 23630 p4p, 23633 weight class) and Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 48 - 39 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 67 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Amiga defends it nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Salvacion as Amiga shoots in.
Salvacion changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amiga defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Salvacion.
Amiga will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Salvacion shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Amiga manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

It looks like Salvacion might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kugus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clifford Val Salvacion.

And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Amiga manages to step out the way in time.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Salvacion shoots in and bounces Amiga off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Amiga is pulling down on Salvacion's head to control his posture.

Salvacion closes this distance looking for a takedown but Amiga circles away.
Amiga throws a quick counter kick to the body but Salvacion avoids it.

Salvacion is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Amiga holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Amiga is pushing down on Salvacion's leg trying to pass to half guard. Salvacion is fighting to maintain full guard but Amiga has managed to sneak the leg through.
Clifford Val Salvacion has got the better of the ground game so far.

Salvacion wants to improve his position but Amiga is controlling well.
Salvacion wants to sweep but Amiga has passed to side control!

Amiga throws an elbow but Salvacion slips to the side and avoids it well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Amiga is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Salvacion's shoulder. That is not cool.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kugus Amiga dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Amiga misses with a takedown attempt - Salvacion sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Well, if Salvacion is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Amiga is trying to control but can't.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Amiga is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Salvacion jumps into side control!

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Salvacion shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Salvacion showed some decent athleticism there.
Amiga tries to get to full guard but Salvacion has control of the leg.

And that's the end of the fight!
Clifford Val Salvacion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Salvacion has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
