Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between MF Jones (ranked 2563 p4p, 2953 weight class) and Brody MacDonald (ranked 291 p4p, 331 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brody MacDonald!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a body shot but no joy.
MacDonald rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
MacDonald bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jones's head backwards.
Jones scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Brody MacDonald has been cut.
Jones misses with a shot to the body
and MacDonald connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like MF Jones has been cut.
Jones cracks MacDonald with a right hand to the side of the head.
MacDonald missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jones scores with a jab to the head.
Jones thuds his shin into the meat of MacDonald's side.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones cracks MacDonald with an open hand slap.
MacDonald walks into a jab.
Jones circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops MacDonald to the canvas! MacDonald doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Jones keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). MF Jones!
