The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Nolan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. As Nolan looks to move away, Morgan throws a big counter combo but Nolan just gets out of the way. Morgan tests Nolan's chin there with a solid looking shot. Sloppy strikes from Morgan. Those never looked like landing. Nolan tries to counter by closing the distance. Morgan connects with a crisp jab.
Nolan is rocked! Morgan cracks Nolan's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Nolan slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Morgan can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Arthur Morgan! Arthur Morgan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
