The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Chris Dean and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hartman avoids it really well and circles away.
Gardner stuffs the takedown.
Gardner swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Hartman throws a head kick that misses
and Gardner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hartman's guard.
Hartman wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Gardner manages to pass to side control.
Hartman is trying to control Gardner's posture. Gardner takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Hartman! Gardner is rotating here... this could be the end... Hartman is out! Gardner has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
