Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas scores with a nice head shot.
Kuhaca really is a fat lump.
Kuhaca tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A little jabbing left from Douglas on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Douglas misses the jab.
Kuhaca throws a combination that misses

and Douglas moves into the clinch.
Kuhaca wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Douglas jumps guard but Kuhaca stands there with Douglas around his waist. Douglas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Douglas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuhaca swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kuhaca throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Douglas dodges the punch combination from Kuhaca.
Kuhaca lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Douglas backs up against the cage.

Kuhaca throws a one two combo.
Kuhaca falls off balance throwing a combination

and Douglas counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
A frustrated look appears on Kuhaca's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Douglas changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kuhaca fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Douglas's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Douglas's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kuhaca misses with a combination
and Kuhaca takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kuhaca is breathing heavily.
Kuhaca throws a nice looking combination but Douglas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Kuhaca gets caught flat footed, as Douglas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Douglas lands a couple of digs.
Douglas slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Douglas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Douglas drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Douglas as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Kuhaca screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Douglas! Nice submission victory there!

Salvatore Douglas decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
