This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 4 losses; Tommy Reed! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 73 wins and 52 losses; Rolf Ottke!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Reed darts in and clinches Ottke up against the cage.
Reed wants to take the fight to the mat but Ottke manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Reed drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ottke dives on top into guard.

Reed is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ottke is just riding it out for now. Reed eventually gives up the hold.
