And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 7 losses; Matsuda Takeshi!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Chai closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Takeshi did well to prevent Chai getting side control.

Takeshi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chai looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chai looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chai!

Chai taking a break here but Takeshi is having none of it and regains half guard.

Takeshi has a hand on Chai's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Chai takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Chai is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Takeshi is surviving well by controlling Chai's body position as best he can.
Takeshi is working to get back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Chai can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Takeshi is looking to escape.
Chai takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

And that's the end of the fight!
Chai takes the fight on points by 27 to 4.
