Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hatsumi Sen (ranked 2409 p4p, 2768 weight class) and Jojo Dresden (ranked 129 p4p, 145 weight class). Dresden comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Break Stuff/ Limp Bizkit kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hatsumi Sen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jojo Dresden! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Dresden connects with a crisp jab.
It looks like Hatsumi Sen has been cut. Dresden lands with an overhand left. Dresden scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Nice uppercut there from Dresden. Sen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Dresden has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Dresden wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Sen is breathing heavily. Dresden steps into range and cracks Sen with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Sen flops backwards and Dresden dives into his guard looking to finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dresden trying to control the position from guard on top but Sen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dresden wants to pass the guard but Sen is keeping the position. Dresden advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dresden tries to pass to full mount but Sen defends it. Dresden is thwarting Sen's attempts to control the position. Dresden is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sen is just riding it out for now. Dresden eventually gives up the hold. Dresden is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sen defends it well. Sen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dresden is looking to stall here but Sen recovers full guard. Sen throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Dresden trying to control the position from guard on top but Sen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sen trying to keep a closed guard but Dresden is proving a slippery customer.
Sen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dresden's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dresden not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dresden looking for a sweep. Not yet Dresden, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dresden is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sen is aware though and is defending well. Dresden is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dresden looking for a guillotine here but Sen defends easily.
Sen scoring with punches to the head and body. Dresden has his foot on Sen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sen works his way back into a safe position though. Sen working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dresden's head. Sen scoring with punches to the head and body. Sen throws a strike but Dresden rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Dresden trying to control but Sen is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dresden controls from within his opponent's guard. Dresden looking to pass the guard. Sen keeping moving, preventing Dresden from controlling successfully. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jojo Dresden dominated that round. The cut man is working on Hatsumi Sen's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Dresden clobbers Sen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Dresden keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hatsumi Sen's cut is getting worse. Dresden fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Dresden throws a nice looking combination but Sen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dresden's guard. Sen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Dresden is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sen throwing strikes but missing. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's one minute gone in the round. Dresden is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dresden tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sen working some strikes from top position. Sen distracts Dresden with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Sen connects with a couple of short punches. Sen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Dresden looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Dresden is breathing heavily. Dresden working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Sen has passed into half guard!
Sen is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dresden is staying active underneath Sen, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dresden has hold of Sen's hands but Sen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Sen working over Dresden with some ground and pound. Dresden looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Sen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sen is looking to take a break and control but Dresden is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dresden is trying to get back to full guard. Sen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dresden keeps working. Dresden has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hatsumi Sen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sen landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Sen winds up and cracks Dresden with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Sen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dresden knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Sen prevents Dresden from improving his position. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dresden is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sen pulls his head out easily. Sen drops an elbow to the side of Dresden's head. Sen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dresden with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Sen throws a head kick that misses. Dresden scores with the left hand. Sen knows he should have avoided that one. Sen on the wrong end of a nice jab. A punch lands to the side of Sen 's head but he takes it in his stride. Dresden scores with a jab to the jaw.
Hatsumi Sen's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Dresden's corner calls for a 1-2. Dresden obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Jojo Dresden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dresden comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dresden, as that shot connected.
Sen is rocked!
Jeez, Hatsumi Sen's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dresden lands a head shot. Oh Sen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dresden drops Sen with a big left hand! Sen is injured, injured bad! Dresden jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jojo Dresden! Jojo Dresden decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
