Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Azim Kaarduu!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaarduu clinches up with Brant and pushes him back against the cage.

Brant escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brant shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kaarduu sprawls well. Kaarduu wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brant gets slowly back to his feet.
Kaarduu drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Brant defends it well.

Brant stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brant wants it to stay on the feet.
As Kaarduu looks to move away, Brant throws a big counter combo but Kaarduu just gets out of the way.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kaarduu connects with a nice short shot to Brant's temple.

Kaarduu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brant keeps working.
Well, if Kaarduu is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kaarduu seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
