Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brownie Anderson (ranked 2410 p4p, 3106 weight class) and Kirov Sturmovik (ranked 290 p4p, 359 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sturmovik misses the body punch
and Anderson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Anderson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sturmovik is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Anderson.
Sturmovik swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sturmovik dips to his left and cracks Anderson with an uppercut!
Sturmovik looks to land a left hand but Anderson moved out of range nicely.
Sturmovik goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Anderson attempts a counter takedown but Sturmovik avoids it well and moves away.
We've been hearing reports that Anderson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Anderson throws a series of punches but Sturmovik avoids them all with ease.

Anderson fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Sturmovik square on the jaw! Damn, Sturmovik is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

In his post fight interview, Brownie Anderson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
