The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patryk shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gamboa defends it nicely.
Patryk shoots in looking for a takedown. Gamboa tries to sprawl out of it but Patryk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gamboa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Patryk slaps away a takedown attempt from Gamboa, before circling back to the center of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Patryk.
Guilherme Gamboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lukasz Patryk.

Gamboa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gamboa lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Lukasz Patryk's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
