The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campos throws a right and a left that both miss.
Campos throws a body kick that misses.
Campos connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Campos cracks Verthalicer with an open hand slap.
Verthalicer gets the takedown into side control.
Campos is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Verthalicer is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Verthalicer blocks Campos's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Verthalicer tries to control but Campos wriggling away.
Verthalicer is working for a guillotine from mount but Campos frees his head quite easily.
Verthalicer pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

Campos bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Verthalicer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Campos manages to get himself to full guard.
Campos is looking for a triangle but Verthalicer pushes his legs off easily.
Campos has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Verthalicer doesn't defend quickly enough and Campos has managed to lock this one up! Can Verthalicer escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Campos on a fantastic submission victory.
