Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Duke Nukem (ranked 4242 p4p, 4123 weight class) and Ivan Madden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Madden!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madden looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Nukem tries to get to full guard but Madden has control of the leg.
Nukem on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nukem tries to get out of the position.
Madden with the ground and pound but Nukem uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Madden wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nukem keeps working.

and Nukem counters with a straight right hand.

Nukem tries to work over Madden's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Madden is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Nukem takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Madden jumps guard but Nukem stands there with Madden around his waist. Madden gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Nukem is looking to control Madden's arms but Madden gets an underhook and turns him. Now Nukem has his back to the cage.

Madden gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Madden shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nukem counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Madden closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nukem to the mat! Nukem manages to get full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Nukem connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Nukem has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Madden is working away from the top position though.

A punch lands to the side of Madden 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Nukem paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nukem is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Madden can do to turn this around?
Madden manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nukem on his heels. He'll look to pass Nukem's guard now, I'm sure.
