Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Calhoun closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Spears quickly recovers to half guard.
Calhoun looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Spears knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Calhoun on the ground.
Spears has hold of Calhoun's hands but Calhoun slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Calhoun thows a huge punch but Spears dodges it nicely.
Calhoun landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Spears pushes Calhoun off looking to stand but Calhoun dives back in and keeps control.
Spears definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Calhoun is nestled in close to Spears, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Calhoun perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Calhoun connects with a nice short shot to Spears's temple.

Spears's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Calhoun has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Calhoun! Spears is hurt baaadly! Calhoun is firing away with more strikes - Spears is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
