Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jan Claude Van Damme (ranked 25464 p4p, 25269 weight class) and Dimitr Ivanovski (ranked 524 p4p, 555 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Van Damme might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Wai khru ram muay. Dimitr Ivanovski has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanovski misses with a series of wild punches.
Ivanovski throws a right hand that Van Damme ducks under and follows up with a left that Van Damme also avoids with ease.
Dimitr Ivanovski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ivanovski moves in looking to clinch but Van Damme pushes him off.
Ivanovski takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Dimitr Ivanovski has been cut.
Ivanovski fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ivanovski tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ivanovski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Van Damme lands a big head kick that sends Ivanovski tumbling to the mat! Van Damme takes a step backwards and waves Ivanovski back to his feet - he wants the finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Van Damme feints a jab and as Ivanovski dips his head, Van Damme unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Ivanovski right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Ivanovski falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Van Damme smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jan Claude Van Damme!
Jan Claude Van Damme decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
