Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Dukic (ranked 4898 p4p, 3248 weight class) and Stu Redman (ranked 459 p4p, 335 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Redman's choice of entrance music: Smke a Little Smoke - Eric Church. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bruno Dukic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stu Redman!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dukic gets in close and instigates a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dukic creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Dukic lands an uppercut.
Dukic lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Redman prevents a takedown attempt there.

Redman wants the takedown. Dukic is fighting it off but Redman persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dukic's guard against the cage.
Redman wants to control from the top but Dukic keeps moving.
Dukic wants to stand up but Redman is controlling him.
Redman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Redman working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Redman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Redman is fighting to break Dukic's control of his arms but Dukic is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Redman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dukic's guard.
Dukic might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's time! Dukic's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Redman looks up at the clock and then as Dukic takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Redman smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Redman misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
