Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Himbo Bobaluss (ranked 3718 p4p, 5765 weight class) and Bebe Em (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bebe Em will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Himbo Bobaluss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bebe Em! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bobaluss gets a takedown into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bobaluss in particular looking to stall. Bobaluss seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Em for as long as he can get away with. Bobaluss is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Em sees it coming and defends easily. Em keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bobaluss tries to pass to full mount but Em defends it. Bobaluss stops Em from getting back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bobaluss performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Em is trying to stand back up but Bobaluss is controlling him
Em looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bobaluss seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Bobaluss seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bobaluss. Em steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Bobaluss. Bobaluss dives in and grabs Em's left leg, looking for a takedown. Em pushes down on Bobaluss's head and hops out. Despite the aggression on Em's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Bobaluss shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Em is trying to defend but Bobaluss finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Bobaluss controlling the pace. Em is trying to escape back to his feet but Bobaluss uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Bobaluss has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bobaluss controls the position. Em pushes Bobaluss away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bobaluss gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bobaluss decides to stand up, so the ref orders Em to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bobaluss. Em changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Himbo Bobaluss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bobaluss shoots in looking for a takedown. Em tries to sprawl out of it but Bobaluss keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Em manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

As Bobaluss backs off Em throws a huge counter combo but Bobaluss manages to avoid it all. Bobaluss fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Em displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bobaluss. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Himbo Bobaluss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bobaluss shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Em as he jumps to the side. Bobaluss throws a leg kick which misses Em's front leg but catches the back leg as Em tries to avoid it. Em takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Bobaluss shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Em counters with a left and a right that stings Bobaluss. Nice sprawl there from Em as Bobaluss shoots in. Bobaluss moves in looking to clinch but Em pushes him off. Bobaluss could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bobaluss shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Em but Em pushes him off and we're back to square one. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bobaluss has a takedown stuffed. Em steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Bobaluss. Em stuffs the takedown attempt from Bobaluss. Bobaluss gets slowly back to his feet. Em tries to sprawl but Bobaluss drives through with a takedown into half guard. Em makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! This has been an exciting period of action! Bobaluss tries for a takedown but Em circles away easily and Em counters with a three punch combo that has Bobaluss backing up. Bobaluss nods at Em to acknowledge the strikes.

Em has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bobaluss with a lazy takedown attempt and Em counters with a series of strikes. Bobaluss will be more careful next time no doubt. Bobaluss misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bobaluss shoots in for a takedown but Em shows good takedown defense. Em is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Bobaluss misses with a takedown and Em counters with a two punch combo.
Bobaluss is rocked! Bobaluss tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Em comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Bobaluss stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Em is on him like rabid pit bull! Bobaluss slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
