Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Htasek Zipporinio (ranked 24792 p4p, 25473 weight class) and Chase Villa (ranked 533 p4p, 539 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Htasek Zipporinio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chase Villa!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zipporinio moves into the clinch successfully.

Zipporinio drags the fight down to the ground.
Villa wants to stand but Zipporinio is controlling his posture from full guard.
Villa wants to pass the guard but Zipporinio is keeping the position.
Zipporinio looking to control.
Villa trying to control the position from guard on top but Zipporinio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Villa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zipporinio as he jumps to the side.

Villa changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zipporinio fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Villa shoots in for a takedown but Zipporinio shows good takedown defense.
Htasek Zipporinio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chase Villa.

Zipporinio has Villa up against the cage in a clinch.
Villa is trying to push Zipporinio away but Zipporinio has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Zipporinio has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Villa is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Zipporinio bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Zipporinio is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Villa can do to turn this around?
Villa is not content to let Zipporinio control the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Zipporinio seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Villa for as long as he can get away with.
Zipporinio can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Villa is looking to escape.
Villa tries to hold on but Zipporinio postures up.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Villa.
Villa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Zipporinio manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Zipporinio shoots for a double leg takedown but Villa sprawls well. He's pushed Zipporinio's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Villa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zipporinio tries to avoid it but Villa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zipporinio to the ground. Zipporinio escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Villa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zipporinio sprawls well. Zipporinio wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Villa gets slowly back to his feet.
