Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tai Kong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Samuel Roth! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kong lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Roth circles away quickly and effectively. Roth has closed the distance and engaged Kong in a clinch.
Roth jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kong walks away with a smile on his face. Roth gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Samuel Roth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kong throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Roth. A head kick misses from Roth. A head kick from Kong lands but Roth takes it in his stride.
Roth is rocked! Kong with the inside leg kick. Kong lands with a right that hurts Roth. Roth looks to clinch but Kong throws a short knee that drops Roth. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Tai Kong!
