The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John with a poor takedown
and Fanucci counters with a straight right hand.
Fanucci jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fanucci fakes high and swings low for a body shot but John manages to avoid it.
John is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
John shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
John is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fanucci has managed to free his arm - good work.
